The French Spad single-seat fighter in all its different variants was one of the supreme aerial weapons designed and deployed during World War I. It was a fighter initially deployed by the French in France in 1916 but eventually flown by many air forces including the following: 1) Royal Flying Corps; 2) United States Army Air Corps; 3) Belgian Air Service; 4) Czech Air Service; 5) Italian Air Service and 6) Russian Air Service. This Spad VIII C.1 (Limited Edition) model includes authentic markings for aircraft operated by the Belgian, Czech and Russian air services. Also included with this kit are the following: 1) Detailed exterior; 2) Detailed cockpit; 3) Detailed landing gear; 4) Photo-etched parts and 5) Illustrated instructions in three languages. The box is in excellent condition. Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
