The original television series Star Trek was created by Gene Roddenberry and aired on NBC from September 8, 1966 to June 3, 1969.  It met with mixed reviews in the 1960s and NBC ultimately cancelled the show.  Despite the mixed reviews of the original television series, most of the original cast and crew came back to appear in the following six Star Trek movies: 1) Star Trek: The Motion Picture; 2) Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn; 3) Star Trek III: The Search for Spock; 4) Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home; 5) Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and 6) Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.  This older Star Trek Cut-Away U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 scaled model includes the following features: 1) Authentic decals to replicate the original U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701; 2) Custom display base; 3) Removable sections reveal the inner structure of the original U.S.S. Enterprise; 4) Painting guide and 5) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The box is in like-new condition.  Never started and factory sealed.
