The book, Suicide Weapon (Weapons Book No. 22) tells the fascinating story of how years of isolationism coupled with the samurai tradition and military set-backs during World War II came together to create a situation that allowed a soldier, sailor or even civilian to make the ultimate sacrifice of attacking United States forces with weapons that ultimately resulted in the death of the person operating them.  Whether the weapon of choice was an obsolete aircraft or purpose-built jet-powered guided bomb, piloted torpedo or motorboat filled with explosives, the Japanese Kamikaze (Devine Wind) was prepared late in World War II to sacrifice all for the Emperor and in the hopes that the deteriorating military situation could yet be salvaged.  While the idea of self-sacrifice as a form of policy was totally foreign to the western mind, to the Japanese it was both more understandable and logical.  It is scary to ponder what would have happened had the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki not worked to bring World War II to a conclusion.  While purely speculation, it is not hard to conjure-up the possibility that millions of Japanese soldiers and civilians would have sacrificed their lives in battle had the Allies invaded the Japanese Home Islands as was originally planned in late 1945 and 1946.  "Suicide Weapon (Weapons Book No. 22)" reviews both the motivation of the Kamikaze volunteers and the weapons used as part of the Japanese campaign late in World War II to change the fortunes of war.  The major sections of "Suicide Weapon (Weapons Book No. 22)" are as follows: 1) Prologue; 2) Suicide and bushido; 3) Banzai: 10,000 years for the Emperor; 4) The humane torpedoes; 5) Divine Wind; 6) Kamikaze in the Philippines; 7) More death from the skies; 8) Samurai under the sea; 9) Suicidal climax; 10) Cataclysmic finale; 11) The balance sheet and 12) Bibliography.  In addition to an informative narrative, "Suicide Weapon (Weapons Book No. 22)" includes the following features: 1) Approximately 109 black and white photographs; 2) About 15 black and white illustrations and 3) 1 map.  This book is 160 pages and is in good condition.  The author is A. J. Barker with Barrie Pitt (Introduction).  Edition published in 1971.

Good reeviw of a fun game.A few things, though: I believe the game is officially Garden of Coloured Lights . There are only fast weapons and slow weapons, not special weapons. The recharging that you speak of would be better described as upgrading ,
