 This postcard scene depicts two black steam locomotives pulling five green passenger cars past a train station as it is about to enter a tunnel through a mountain.  This scene is set against green rolling hills, a snow covered mountain range and blue sky with white clouds.  The legend on the back of the postcard reads as follows: "Some of the most noted scenic features in the world are situated along the line of the Denver &  Rio Grande Railroad.  Thousands of tourists enjoy this trip annually, which is unsurpassed by any similar trip in the world.  Tennessee Pass, at an altitude of 10,242 feet, is one of the highest railroad mountain passes in existence".  It is identified as 5376.  This postcard contains no writing, is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall excellent condition.
