This postcard depicts a picturesque scene of a diesel locomotive pulling passenger cars on its run from Los Angeles to San Francisco against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.  The legend reads: "'The Daylights' serving San Francisco, Los Angeles and intermediate points, are luxurious million dollar trains, considered by many as the most beautiful trains in the world.  They travel through rich valleys and rugged mountains, and along the very edge of the Pacific Ocean for 113 miles of breath taking beauty".  This postcard was part of Stanley A. Piltz company's "Pictorial Wonderland" Art Tone Series.  This postcard contains no writing, is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall excellent condition.
