The book, The de Havilland Mosquito, tells the story of the twin engined British fighter bomber that was undoubtedly one of the most successful combat aircraft of World War II.  It was flown on a number of high profile missions during World War II including the Amiens prison attack in February, 1944, as well as attacks on Gestapo headquarters in Copemhagen and the Hague.  The Mosquito had the lowest loss rate of any bomber command aircraft during the war and its superb performance allowed it to be used in a number of roles including night fighter, fighter-bomber, reconnaissance, trainer and improvised airliner.
