The movie, The duel At Silver Creek, is filled with suspense, romance and with "gun-blazing glory" is a must-see classic western film.  The plot centers on a fast-shooting marshal of Silver Creek named Lightning and his deputy the young, fast shooting Silver Kid.  After the marshal's best friend is gunned down by a gang of claim jumpers that have also been terrorizing and murdering local miners, he sets-out to capture the outlaws.  When the marshall is ambushed an losses the use of his trigger finger, the Silver Kid whose father was also killed by the outlaws takes a central role in bringing them in to face western justice.  Their plans are complicated, however, when the Silver Kid falls for a new lady in town who just may be working on the sly for the "bad guys".  Starring Audie Murphy, Faith Domergue and Stephen McNally among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1952.  Runtime 77 minutes.
