The movie, The Misfits, centers on a recently divorced and disillusioned Roslyn Tabor who on the rebound befriends a group of "misfits" including an aging cowboy, a heartbroken mechanic and a worn-out rodeo rider.  Through this group's live-for-the-moment lifestyle, Roslyn experiences her first taste of freedom, exhilaration and passion.  Everything is going great until her innocent idealism clashes with the "misfits" hard-edged practicality and she seemingly must make a choice between these two conflicting worlds.  This movie was produced by the legendary John Huston who used a screenplay by the equally famous Arthur Miller.  This video also includes the original theatrical trailer and is noteworthy in that it was the last film that both Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe starred in before their untimely deaths.  Starring Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe and Montgomery Clift among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1961.  Runtime 125 minutes.
