This 1932 version of the film The Mummy has become a "landmark" in the annals of screen history.  This film centers on the Egyptian High Priest Im-Ho-Tep who is accidentally revived 3,700 years later by a British archaeology team.  In a flashback, the film tells how this high priest was embalmed alive for trying to revive his vestal virgin love.  Now dressed in modern garb, the high priest begins his search for his long lost love and in the process terrorizes the members of the British expedition who realize they must find a way to stop him.  This brooding, dream-like film remains a horror masterpiece over 75 years after it was released.  Starring Boris Karloff, Zita Johann and David Manners among others.  Fullscreen in black and white.  Released in 1932.  Runtime 72 minutes.
