The movie, The Mummy's Curse, represented the last installment in a series of classic horror movies centered on the resurrection of ancient Egyptian mummys.  Kharis who is tormented by his forbidden love of princess Anaka is the ancient mummy brought to live in this film.  The trouble begins when Kharis is recovered from a swamp and transported to Louisiana's Cajun country for study by a number of prodding archaeologists.  As if this was not spooky enough, a group of construction workers soon uncover the wasted body of his beloved princess Ananka.  After Kharis is resurrected by a Egyptian "high priest", he begins a reign of terror and destruction over the local inhabitants as he renews his search for Ananka's reincarnation.  Eventually the two unite and wreak even more havoc together until faced by the ultimate threat of being "entombed" as historical artifacts in a museum.  This movie will appeal to anyone interested in the genre of classic horror films that came out Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s.  Starring Lon Chaney, Peter Coe and Kay Harding among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Release in 1944.  Runtime 61 minutes.
