The movie, The Train Robbers centers on the ravishing widow Mrs. Lowe who wants the gold her late husband stole to be returned to its rightful owner in order to restore her family's name.  The only problem is she must first recover the gold before so she can return it to its rightful owner. A lightning fast gunman named Lane is cajoled into helping her hunt down the stolen gold.  He goes along with the plan because he thinks it will be an easy day out in the Mexican Country.  The hunt for the gold turns out to be more dangerous than he planned, however, when they encounter a villainous Pinkerton Man and his gang of Mexican outlaws.  As Lane and Mrs Lowe look for the stolen treasure while evading Pinkerton and his thugs, they devlop an effection for one another and realize that love is more precious than gold.  Starring John Wayne, Ann-Margret and Rod Taylor among others.  Widescreen in color.  Released in 1973.  Runtime 92  minutes.
