The Transall C-160 is a twin engined "turboprop" military transport aircraft developed jointly between France and Germany.  This aircraft was first introduced in the late 1960s and has been used by the French, German, South African and Turkish Air Forces.  Approximately 200 C-160s of all variants have been produced to date.  The performance characteristics of the C-160 are generally as follows: 1) Top speed of about 320 m.p.h.; 2) Effective service ceiling of 30,000 feet and 3) Range of approximately 1,100 miles.  This Transall (Blue Ribbon Collector Series) model is molded in dark gray plastic and includes the following: 1) Authentic markings for an aircraft operated by the French Air Force and 2) Illustrated assembly instructions.  The model package is in excellent condition but does have a minor amount of handwriting on the back of the hanger card.  Never started and factory sealed.
