The movie, Treasure Of Sierra Madre, is a riveting adventure story that is one of Hollywood's greatest all-time films.  The central character is Fred C. Dobbs, who along with two other Americans in Tampico during the 1920s, decide to pool their resources and strike off into the rugged mountains of Mexico in search for gold.  Along the way the three fortune seekers are hounded by jungle Indians, a fortune-hunting Texan and cold-blooded banditos.  In the end the group must confront their most dangerous adversry of all; themselves.  The film, Treasure Of Sierra Madre won three Academy awards including Best Supporting Actor, Best Director and Best Screenplay.  Starring Humphrey Bogart, Walter Huston and Tim Holt among others.  Full screen in black and white.  Released in 1948.  Runtime 126 minutes.
