The book, U.S. Airborne In Action (# 10), covers the exploits of American paratroopers from their early beginnings through their campaigns of World War II.  American paratroopers and glider forces saw action in all major battles in Europe as well as landings in the Philippines and Burma.  Included in this book are the following: 1) Over 100 photographs; 2) 40 detail line drawings and 3) 16 color paintings.  This book is 50 pages.  The author is Leroy Thompson with Ken MacSwan (colorist) and Tom Tullis (illustrations).  Edition published in 1992.
