This postcard depicts a World War II era United States Navy destroyer at flank speed on the open water.  This bow on photograph is taken from an interesting angle as if the photographer were sitting in a row boat as the destroyer is about to pass him.  This image also reminds one of the almost impossible torpedo shot made by an American submarine against the bow of a Japanese destroyer towards the end of the World War II film Run Silent, Run Deep.  This postcard contains no legend on the back and is identified by the number 2013.  It contains no writing, is free of noticeable stains or marks and is in overall excellent condition.
