The movie, Under Fire, is a action-packed political thriller involving journalists covering Nicaragua's civil war in 1979.  The lead character is Russell Price who along with his fellow journalists finds himself embroiled in Nicaragua's growing civil war.  Against a backdrop of increasing violence, Price seeks to interview an unknown Sandanista rebel leader.  Eventually, Price is asked to photograph the rebel leader albeit after he has been killed in order to prove to the world that he is still alive.  In assisting the rebels, Price realizes he has crossed the line from journalist to participant with devastating results.  Starring Nick Nolte, Ed Harris and Gene Hackman among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1983.  Runtime 128 minutes.
