In the movie Up Periscope, A Navy frogman named Ken Braden is given top-secret orders that wisk him from the uncertainty of a stateside romance to the perils of ocean warfare and ultimately the photographing of secret Japanese radio codes at an enemy insatllation on a remote tropical island.  Before he can execute his mission, however, Ken must journey to his destination via a submarine which is besieged by dive-bombing death from above and depth-charges from below.  Starring James Garner, Edmond O'Brien and Alan Hale among others.  Full screen in color.  Released in 1959.  Runtime 111 minutes.
