This kit of the Supermarine Seafire XV is an accurate representation of this variant of the famous Spitfire and was powered by the Griffon engine giving it a top speed of 392 m.p.h..  The Seafire XV entered service with the fleet air arm in May, 1945 and remained in service until the 1950s.  The Royal Canadian Navy Air Arm used two squadrons of this fighter from 1945 to 1949.  The Seafire's armament consisted of two 20mm cannon and four .303 machine guns.  Authentic decals are provided for two aircraft one each from the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Navy.  The box is in excellent condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
