The Handly Page Victor was a British jet bomber aircraft produced by the venerable Handley Page Aircraft Company. It was the third and final of the "V bombers" which provided Britain's nuclear deterant. The other two V-bombers were the Avro Vulcan and the Vickers Valiant. Bomber versions of the Victor were later converted to the tanker role once they were judged to be obsolete in their original primary strike role. The book Victor: Handley Page Victor K Mk 2 (Aeroguide, 11) documents the design, development and deployment of this aircraft. Sections of this book are laid out as follows: 1) Introduction; 2) Airframe; 3) Undercarriage; 4) Cockpit; 5) Tanks, HDU and Pods and 6) Scale Color Plans. Included in this book are approximately 102 period black and white photographs, 10 original color photographs and 3 pages dedicated to scale color plans. This book is 36 pages and is in like new condition. The author is Roger Chesneau with Steve Archibald (color profile) and Richard L. Ward (scale color plans). Edition published in 1985.
