The book, Vintage Motorcars, represents a fascinating collection of veteran and vintage automobiles that is sure to please the most discerning automobile fan.  The cars featured in this book are notable and handsome examples of classic models that have largely been preserved in museums and private collections in Great Britain.  They range from single cylinder runabouts, barely able to reach speeds of 12 m.p.h. to the largest car ever documented, the 21-liter Benz ridden by the famous World War I German Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg.  The format of this book includes a brief one page narrative for each of the 32 automobiles reviewed followed by a full page color illustration of each vehicle.  The automobiles reviewed are as follows: 1) 1898 Star-Benz; 2) 1901 Godiva 9h.p. dos-a-dos; 3) 1903 De Dion Bouton; 4) 1904 8 h.p.
