Kit of the nighttime interceptor version of the F4U Corsair first made famous in World War II. To late for World War II, the F4U-5N Corsairs were extremely effective as a night fighter during the Korean War. Powered by a 2,300 hp R-2800 32W engine, this variant of the Corsair had a top speed of 470 mph and could carry 2,000 lbs. of bombs plus eight HVAR rockets. This kit includes detailed engine / cockpit / wheel well interiors and underwing stores. Never started and factory sealed.
