  The book, Wellington In action (# 76) represents a pictorial study of the British World War II era twin engine Vickers Wellington medium bomber.  R.K. Pierson designed the Wellington Bomber in the mid-1930s.  It was widely used as a night-time bomber by the Royal Air Force Bomber Command in the early years of World War II and was later replaced  by the larger, four-engine heavy bombers such as the Avro Lancaster.  Wellington variants also flew anti-submarine missions with the Royal Air Force Coastal Command.  The major sections of "Wellington In Action (# 76)" are as follows: 1) Introduction; 2) Wellington Mk I; 3) Wellington Mk 1A; 4) Wellington Mk 1C; 5) Wellington DWI; 6) Wellington GRMk VIII; 7) Wellington Mk II; 8) Wellington Mk III; 9) Wellington Mk IV; 10) Wellington Mk V; 11) Wellington Mk V; 12) Wellington Mk X; 13) Wellington Mk XI; 14) Wellington Mk XII Anti-Submarine; 15) Wellington GR MK XIV; 16) Wellington L Mk XV; 17) Wellington Mk XVI and 18) Wellington Trainers.  In addition to an informative narrative, "Wellington In Action (# 76)" includes the following features: 1) Approximately 100 black and white photographs; 2) About 55 black and white illustrations; 3) 1 color illustration; 4) 10 color side aircraft profile illustrations; 5) 1 three-view Wellington Mk 1C black and white illustration with specifications and 6) 3 color cover paintings.  This book is 50 pages and is in good condition.  The author is Ron Mackay with Don Greer (colorist) and Joe Sewell (illustrations).  Edition published in 1986.
