The Westland Lynx is a British helicopter designed and built by Westland at their factory in Yeovil. The Lynx was originally intended as a utility helicopter for both civil and military use but this led to the development of special pupose army and naval variants. The Lynx first flew in 1971 and delivery of the first models commenced in 1978. The Lynx is currently being used by the British Army, Royal Navy, French Navy and the German Navy. This older, out-of-prodcution Westland Lynx kit is quality engineered in three colors. Authentic decals are included for the following two helipcaopters: 1) Naval Anti-submarine strike version (Two MK. 44 torpedoes and 2) Army Freight / Transport version (Load/cap: 3,325 lbs.) Also, included in this kit are detailed instructions and a color paint plan. The box is in good condition with original tape on the ends to seal the package and a repaired puncture hole on the right-hand side of the box cover. Never started and factory sealed.
