The Battle Of Midway marked the turning point for both the Japanese War machine and the Zero fighter.  Until June of 1942, the Zero enjoyed absolute air supremacy in the Pacific as the American P-40 Warhawks and F4F Wildcats were no match for the Zero.  With the advent of the American F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair and P-51 Mustang the Zero's dominance was lost.  For its day, the Zero was an outstanding fighter with speed, maneuverability and fire power to match.  This kit includes 85 precision parts and has a length of 11.1" and a wingspan of 13.5'.  Included in this kit are the following: 1) Super detailed 14 cylinder Sakae radial engine with removable cowling; 2) Totally complete cockpit interior with pilot figure; 3) Optional position flaps and landing gear and 4) Drop tank and weaponry.  The box is in good condition.  Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions inventoried.
